It was Oscar Wilde who said, “I love talking about nothing. It’s the only thing I know anything about.”
Well, at the end the year, here are a few words about nothing in particular but showing some quilts that you may not have seen before.
This is my second grandson Peter who is now 10. Like many other children he was very fond of The Very Hungry Caterpillar when he was little.
A couple of children’s quilts from Wendy.
And this one is a quilt-as-you-go which suits Chris well when she is travelling in the caravan.
I’ve just spent a few days away in the Albury area where the cricket team played against a team from Victoria. My friend Bennie was sewing down the binding on these 2 quilts that she has made for members of the Australian Defence Force who are serving overseas.
These two Double Wedding Ring quilts belong to Alison. This one she made herself from Liberty fabrics and has recently finished quilting it for her daughter’s wedding.
And this one she bought as a top many years go and it’s now quilted and finished.
I love talking about nothing too.
