We celebrated the end of another successful year of quilts with a meal together at Judith’s place. Of course Judith was the one who received her blocks and laid them out on the floor to look at and think about how she is going to put them together.

Annette has put her last friendship quilt together and is wondering what to do about a border. She would like it to be a bit bigger and has to decide whether to add a border or make more ‘Court House Steps’ blocks.

I think the final decision was to go with a narrow yellow and white striped border and than a wider border of random yellow fabrics. It will add to the charm of a wonderfully scrappy quilt. She may have to put all this on hold for a while till her broken arm heals.
