Winter has come to Sydney this week with a vengeance but nothing keeps us from a day of quilting together. While several of our group and enjoying the warmth of the northern hemisphere the rest of us enjoyed each others company on a cold winters day.

Jenny worked in her ‘quilt that she works on when she’s got nothing else to quilt’…. And what a quilt it will be when its ever finished.

But she knew that she’d done enough for the day when she sewed the wrong seams together and ended up with a pocket!

Elizabeth amazed us all when she produced her hexagons and began to quilt. This quilt gave her so much grief when she was putting all the hexagons together. It took a lot of unpicking and drawing diagrams to finally get it right. But now she’s on the home stretch.
