We’re back! Christmas holidays are over and quilting on Wednesdays is back on track. What a wet, grey and miserable day it was- just the sort of day to spend stitching and chatting and catching up on the news. After all, we haven’t seen each other for three weeks!

Naomi has been really busy over the break and has made this quilt with her brother in mind. It’s quilted, bound and completely finished in record time.

Anne has finished her turtle quilt for one of her grandsons. Her grandchildren are keeping her busy with requests for a cat quilt and then a giraffe quilt. Yesterday she was appliqueing a cat as a start on the cat one and is collecting fabrics for the giraffe quilt.

Look closely and you’ll see that she has stuffed the turtle and the starfish too. image

Jenny was quilting this charity quilt for victims of domestic violence- such a simple design and what a delightful quilt.

Margaret has made great progress on her hexagons.

And I’ve used my holiday time to make a few baby quilts.
