Last week we were blessed with a lovely cool day for quilting at Margaret’s.

Annette has begun quilting a friendship quilt we made for her a couple of years ago.

As you can see it’s been strip pieced over a paper foundation and each block has a strip of red in the centre.

Margaret showed us another of her embroideries.

And now she is quilting this one.

Next week Sue will receive her friendship blocks but in the meantime she is making half blocks to go along the edges. If you look in the bottom left of the photo of Annette you can see a couple of the blocks that Pam was working on.

Naomi has again found some blocks that she put away in the cupboard some time ago and is now sewing them together.

And finally for this week, here is Bronwen’s latest. She has finished the one she was quilting for Jenny and is now back to her own again.
