Last Wednesday saw Marie sewing down the binding on a quilt for one of her grandsons. She seems to have finished it quite quickly and the back is just as interesting as the front. Because this grandson lives near the beach she has used a water scene on the back.

Naomi is progressing well with these triangles but the quilting pattern, especially when seen from the back is quite spectacular.

This one of mine is by no means finished but I’m thoroughly enjoying quilting it- fine hand quilting that I thought I’d never do again. I’ve had the pattern for ages and it’s time has come at last. I love navy and white quilts!
