The last couple of weeks have been fairly quiet on the quilting front. Everyone is working away on their projects that they’ve been at for ages, except for Naomi and Bronwen. Naomi has 2 more quilts on the go.

This is one of three that she is making from shirts that belonged to her brother. She will give them to his family so that they have a reminder of him- what a lovely keepsake.

Naomi  is also quilting this one.

Bronwen has her friendship quilt from last month together already!

Here’s Margaret’s latest- a cot quilt.

And here are 2 old quilts that I’ve seen in the last couple of weeks. A friend was clearing out her mother’s garage and found these ones that were bought in the states about 20 years ago.

And this one is a Trip Around the World made by Alison.

It’s cherry blossom time at the Japanese Gardens at Auburn. Here’s a collage of some of the sights that we saw when we visited on Thursday. If you can get there you won’t be disappointed.
