Just for a change we held our monthly meeting of Just Friends at Judith’s place on the second Tuesday this month, mainly because Sue would then be home from her travels and would be handing out for the next round.

Judith received these beautiful bright lantern blocks which she will put together for a wedding quilt for her daughter. She intends to have it machine quilted so that it’s finished sooner rather than later.

Judith is also well on the way with the quilting of the friendship quilt from last year – another wedding quilt- this one for her son.

Elizabeth has finished her Dresses quilt.

I have been putting together my black and white quilt from last year. I have quilted all the blocks, quilt-as-you-go style, and now I’m joining them together.

I’ve bought some bright orange batik for the highlight strip. It will look great.
