So many of us had been away over the last few months that there has been little to report on. Last week only three people turned up to Wednesday quilting- almost unheard of!

But yesterday we were back almost to full strength and with a few newsworthy items.

Jenny has very proudly put together a quilt top that she began in 1998 (or was it 1993?) and it is so very different from the quilts that she makes now that it is worth a look.

She would never dream of making a pretty floral quilt like this these days.

And I have completed my quilt made from vintage linens. It has been a very long, hot summer so  I began this because it was light and easy to manage on hot days when I just didn’t feel like quilting.
