Yesterday this wonderful scrap quilt of Annette’s was basted, ready for quilting. I didn’t realise just how big it was till it was spread out on the floor. She’s used a fine cotton, king size Mountain Mist batting and each block is 5 inches. What a great variety of fabrics.
Margaret also has finished her version of the Museum Quilt from a pattern of Judy Newman’s. Instead of piecing the circle of triangles in the centre medallion she has appliquéd a circle of fabric. Very clever.
While basting Annette’s, we also basted this on belonging to Kelly who is in the EPQ Wednesday night group. She has used furnishing fabrics and a very simple 2 inch square.
