‘Just Friends’ had our last meeting for the year last week and once again we have wound up a great year of quilts and friendship. This time it was Sue’s turn to hand out and she has chosen a Square within a Square, similar to one that Sandra made several years ago.

Elizabeth received her big blocks that we made for her last month. She asked us to use Pam’s colours and, after all these years, we all knew exactly what she meant.

Sandra was working on another of our famous Triangle quilts, also a friendship quilt from about 3 years ago.

Jenny was quilting another baby quilt. What a striking fabric in that border!

Annette was joining these little 5 inch blocks into strips.

I must have been away when it was Jenny’s turn and I don’t have a photo of her big pink and orange 9 patches and that’s a shame because it would be very bright and colourful.

Our next friendship  meeting will be in February but we will be back to Wednesday    quilting soon after Christmas.
