Everyone loved Annette’s choice of the Lantern block to make a quilt for her granddaughter Blossom. We each made four blocks using floral fabrics and she made many more so that when we laid them out there were enough blocks for a quilt and a great variety of beautiful fabrics.

In the future there could be one or two more of these quilts made – what a lovely calm and pretty quilt it has turned out to be. We’d all love one of our own.

 

Sandra came along with an oldie from 2009 that she is quilting at the moment. It’s a Fan pattern in seventies vintage type fabrics. She is quilting it very closely. Another stunner!
